“Crafting A Deliberate Life: Making Choices That Are Purposeful, Personal and Powerful.”
noun /səˈlän/ /saˈlôN/
1. A gathering of eminent people, held to increase the knowledge of the participants through conversation.
Join us for the Mormon Women Project Salon 2011 to be held Saturday, November 5th, 2011 in Salt Lake City, Utah at the Joseph Smith Memorial Building.
Seven million strong, the women of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints weave a tapestry of variety and strength that is unique in our world today. Mormon women stand up for their beliefs by choosing lifestyles, family structures and jobs that allow them to practice what they believe in a way that is right for them. Far from a monochrome stereotype, the beauty and variety of our women prove that there is no one right way to “choose the right”. If the MWP has touched your life by revealing the stunning diversity among our membership or helped you define for yourself what it means to be a Mormon women, I hope you will join us for this important evening as we discuss the art of “crafting a deliberate life.”
