The women we read about here on the Mormon Women Project make deliberate choices about how to magnify their potential, control their reactions to a variety of situations, and contribute to their families and communities. And you do those things too! Because we at the Mormon Women Project believe that everyone has a story, we want to hear yours.
What is a Snapshot Portrait?
In between our weekly interview profiles, we will post mid-week “snapshot portraits” which will be submitted by you, our readers. The purpose of these snapshot portraits is to demonstrate that the qualities of confidence, choice and faith we profile in our interviews can be found in your life, and not just in the lives of the women we interview.
What is the format of a Snapshot Portrait?
We invite you to submit a 500-word text composition or a 2-3 minute video answering one of the following prompts:
“The moment I realized there is power in what I do was when….”
“The first time I realized Heavenly Father loves me was when….”
“The hardest choice I’ve made in my life was when….”
To submit video portraits, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
